STI Merit Calculator for School Teacher Internship Program 2025-2026
STI Merit Calculator – User Guide
Purpose
This calculator is designed according to the official STI Policy 2025 issued by the School Education Department, Government of Punjab.
It helps applicants automatically calculate their merit marks based on their academic qualifications, professional qualification (B.Ed / M.Ed), and interview score.
📌 How the Calculator Works
The calculator computes marks using the official Qualification Marks Criteria Table in the STI policy.
Each qualification (Master, Bachelor, BS, Intermediate, Matric) is assigned a maximum score.
Your percentage marks and grading system (Semester or Annual) decide how many marks you get out of that maximum.
🧾 Marks Distribution Table (Official)
| Qualification | Maximum Marks |
|---|---|
| Master | 40 |
| Bachelor | 15 |
| BS (4-Year) | 55 |
| Intermediate | 15 |
| Matric | 15 |
| Professional Qualification (B.Ed / M.Ed) | 10 |
| Interview | 5 |
| Total | 100 Marks |
🧩 Level Conversion Table
| Level | Semester System % | Annual System % | Example Marks (Master) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Level 1 | 90% or above | 80% or above | 40 |
| Level 2 | 80%–89% | 70%–79% | 36 |
| Level 3 | 70%–79% | 60%–69% | 32 |
| Level 4 | 60%–69% | 50%–59% | 28 |
| Level 5 | 50%–59% | 40%–49% | 24 |
This level scale applies similarly to Bachelor, BS, Intermediate, and Matric with their own maximum marks.
